Plain answers on what happens to the details you send.
This notice covers the information you give Oxted Windows through this website, by phone or by email. Questions about it can go to contact@oxtedwindows.com.
What we collect
Only what you send: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message. When you book a visit, the date and time you pick are kept as well.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry and arrange the home visit and quotation you asked for. The lawful basis is taking steps, at your request, before a possible contract.
Who sees it
Your details are passed to one FENSA-registered window and door company so that it can contact you; from that point it looks after them as a controller in its own right, under its own privacy notice. Messages are delivered by email through our website host. Your details are never sold or used for advertising.
How long we keep it
If nothing comes of an enquiry, the details are deleted twelve months after the last contact. If work goes ahead, records are kept for six years after it is finished, because of tax, guarantee and legal requirements.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your details, or ask for them to be corrected or deleted, or object to how they are used, by writing to contact@oxtedwindows.com. If you are unhappy with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
